Paying for Redhat?

Is it true you'll have to pay for Redhat next year? And if so is that just for the next versions or older versions to like Redhat 8?

If you want to find out what is going on with Redhat read about Fedora and Redhat Enterprise Linux. I loaded Fedora Core 1 on my test machine last night and so far it has proven to be a pretty good distro. Fedora is free.
