Any info would be helpful. |

It's not the distrobution, it's the kernel version. Any distro (RedHat, Mandrake, Slackware, etc.) will work, as long as they use kernel version 2.4 or newer I'm Pretty Sure Of.
If your wondering which distro to use being a newbie, I would reccomend mandrake. I have used redhat 9, mandrake 8.2, and a little gentoo. I am very new to linux and so far like mandrake the best. |

I don't think that kernel version supports 32 bit, I do know that 2.6.1 supports it, and the distros you can get that have 64 bit support are as follow... just about any distro. :-) Just go to there site and look for ther packages (like SuSE, Mandrake, RedHatEnterprise, and all support it) here are some of ther links...

SuSE 9 comes in an AMD 64 bit version. I am not sure what the differances are, but you can learn more at www.SuSE.com
