multicomputer operating systems

I have about 10 PC's in the basement collecting dust. These are P3 to P1 computers. These does not include the couple of P4's that I use daily.

I thought of linking the old PC's with a Ethernet switch to experiement with multicomputer operating systems.

Anyone know where I can download a multicomputer operating system to experiment with distributed computer environment?

Thanks for the very useful links.

Looks like I'll have to do a fair bit of reading before installation.
