Unique Set-up

I have a interesting idea for a dual boot machine and was wondering if anyone knows if it can be done or not.

Here it goes. I am thinking about a dual boot machine that has Linux (Mandrake 9.2) & BeOS on it. The Linux would be in a file/web server roll while the BeOS boot would be used only to run streaming radio station software.

If I did do this would the MP3s be seen by both OSs? Is there things to consider that I have not mentioned above?

Thanks.

Send a message via AIM to juicelooser
If you partition into 3 portions - Mandrake, Share, and BeOS, and you store the MP3s on Share, sure.

juicelooser,

Thanks for the info. Now knowing this information I am wondering if I can fit the two OS on one hard drive and then drop in a 40Gb hard drive for the files ad MP3s.
Also, all the other boxes on my network are Windows. Is this another issue.

Here is the information on my Linux box.

IBM PC 350 w/ Intel P167 Processor
39MB Ram on board
512k Cache
1.6 Gb hard drive
9.0 Gb hard drive
