HELP!!Mandrake/XP/Asus P4P800

I purchase a p4p800 mother and tried to dual boot xp and mandrake so many times now and every time have completely failed, There something about this motherboard that is perventing lilo or grub from installing corectly,. I even tried system commander and failed. The mbr gets curropted every time, and it happens as mandrake says installing boot loader, Where's the option to stop it from installing, After that I get to the config page where you can change the bootloader, but by then it's to late, the drives mbr is destroyed.
evern if you say don't install bootloader.
After that all seems hopeless as norton ghost won't boot from a floppy and all widows based bootable cd won't work. Thanks god I picked up a copy of mandrake move where I can erase the boot track, and partition and then reghost xp.
I CAN INSTALL SUSE 9.0 DVD EDITION WITH NO PROBLEMS, BUT I REALLY LIKE MANDRAKE BETTER.

tRIED EXPERT INSTALL AND JUST ABOUT EVERY METHOD OF INSTALL, INCLUDING CHAINGING BIOS P-ATA AND S-ATA SETINGS, DISABLING AND ENABELING EVERYWHERE

I don't think the mobo is the source of your problem. It is just transferring information for the CD to the Hard drive. The problem is probably your hard drive or your CD. Whcih Hardrive are you trying to install Mandrake on, and is this a download version or a store bought. If it is a download, try downloading another copy.

YES, IT FINIALLY WORKED.
SWAPPED XP TO SLAVE AND INSTALLED MANDRAKE TO MASTER,
AFTER INSTALL LILO FOUND XP AND ALLOWED ME TO BOOT,
tHE COOL THING IS IF YOU JUST SINPLE SWAP BACK THE HARD DRIVEs, WITH XP BEING MASTER, WINDOWS BOOT NORMALLY,
