Is there a DVD software player....

What do I need to run DVDs on my PC with Linux ?

The most popular media players for Linux are Xine and MPlayer.

I prefer MPlayer myself, it plays a very wide range of video formats when the codec package is installed.

What distro do you have? Most likely you'll find Xine, MPlayer, or both on your distro CDs.

I have an older RedHat cd I was going to try out this weekend but, after giving it a second thought, I think I'll pick up the most recent Mandrake on my way home this evening.
Thanks for the media player info. Since I'm one of those people who watch DVDs on my monitor it was important.
