No sound - Mandrake 9
Hi,
System is ECS K7VTA3, VIA KT333CE + VT8235, XP2200+. I have no sound. I checked the System Configuration tool and the driver seems to be there. Everything else seems to be OK. I did have a problem with the mouse wheel not working but I was able to fix that  with the Mandrake Control Center. Should there be a Sound icon in the Mandrake Control Center? I don't have one. I am new to Linux. Just getting started, so please go slow. Thanks for any help. |

What a waist of time this has been. I'll take Mandrake back and get my money back.
If this is the Linux world, you can keep it. Windows 98 never looked so good as it does now.
