Hey all, having a little problem here. I have Mandrake 7.2 installed on my system but I can't get it to network or acess the net. I have it connected to a Netgear RT311 Router. Here are my Network configurator settings for Adaptor 1:
Config mode: Dhcp Primary name + domain: localhost.localdomain Alises: localhost IP address: 192.168.02 Netmask: 255.255.255.0 Net device: eth0 Kernel module: ne2k-pci irq: 10 When I had Windows on it the IP was 192.168.0.2 and my router was 192.168.0.1 (gateway) and I didn't have to set any DNS or DHCP settings, so I am lost a little. Any ideas?

Check to make sure that your dhcp client is installed. Ocassionally I have seen Mandrake not install the client which makes connection impossible. In 7.2, you can go into RPMDrake and see if it is installed. You won't have to worry about DNS since your router is taking care of that. Once you get it set up, go to Mozilla.org and download their browser to replace netscape.
