What is the difference of absoft pro software?
Hi,
What is the difference between: Absoft Pro Fortran Compiler Suite For MacOS/Intel and Absoft Pro Fortran Compiler Suite For MacOS/PPC (G5) what is the difference between the MacOs/intel and MacOs/PPC (G5)? thanks

Mac OS/Intel is a macintosh computer that runs on the intel processor. PPC is the PowerPC chip. The G5 is the generation of the Chip. The PPC will not run on the intel macs and vice versa.
Some software is labeled universal and can be used on either or using the Rosetta software built into the intel mac's OS
