final cut exporting icod MOVs, rather than hdv2 MOVs

Up until about 2 weeks ago, two of my macs at work were doing the file > export >quicktime movie function correctly.

according to GSPOT.exe, the files were originallly uncompressed hdv2 MOV files. I'd then bring those over to a PC and compress them for the web.

Now, according to GSPOT.exe, what I get are icod MOV files, which can only be read by the mac that generated them. If I move the file to another mac, the audio will play, but the video will not. Same with a PC.

Very strange...

Any ideas? Thanks
