some questions about Mac
I have some questions about Mac OS.
There is a Apple laptop with Mac OS and it has a built in NIC card in it. If I want to use internet on this laptop ,than I can connect ethernet cable into this laptop. My question is that if the ethernet cable is faulty, than still will I get the built in ethernet option in the show box in network icon? Can anyone of you give me a link which has snapshots of the troubleshooting steps for the latest version of Mac OS? I would deeply appreciate if any one of you gives me the link? |

If the cable is fualty then the Mac will show a red dot next to the ethernet option in your network settings.
