New Macbook Line up

What are everyones thoughts. I was just forced to get a new mackbook right before the release. I am not really all that disappointed. While it has the novel glass buttonless tack pad and and upgraded video chip I am not all that inclined to drool. Apple seems to be falling behind on ideas.

I thought there were some interesting advancements. Granted, nothing earth shattering, but nothing that was a step backwards either.

I still haven't been convinced to switch though. If I did get a macbook, I'd be running XP on it

I personally don't like the new MacBooks, the screen is too much like HPs, the new black keyboard was stolen off of Sony Vaios, and the unibody design makes it harder for people to replace things in their computers now. I have the older MBP that was the predecessor to the new ones now. I originally had the MBPs that first came out with Intels, and i went through 2 of them within 5 months due to hardware problems. Now i have this 3rd one, my battery just died within 6 days of the warranty going out, so now i have a new battery, but no warranty. Woo hoo.

Forgive the ignorance, but when is the new release? Is it just the new OS?
