Mac Kernel Panic?

My friend who has a Mac Book Pro has been getting these types of errors: http://support.apple.com/kb/TA20920?viewlocale=en_US

Now, I'm not a Mac person but, he's asked me to help him out so, anyone know any known solutions? Will updating the Mac OS fix the issue?

they're pretty normal things that happen. I have gotten a few of them in the past, they really don't mean anything. It's pretty much the same as the blue screen of death on PCs, but without having to worry what's wrong with it. Just try updating the Mac, it normally fixes it. Now if it keeps happening, definitely contact Apple about it.
