iPhone - OSX3 release date

Morning Gents,

Apple have released a date that OSX3 is going to be out, 17th June 2009 for the UK, not sure about America but I'm pretty sure it'll be at the same time.

The new OS boasts features such as:-

- MMS for picture messaging
- Landscape for text, emails & notes
- Internet teethering - using your iPhone as a modem
- Peer to Peer gaming
- Cut, copy & paste

All the new features are on apples website or 02 for the UK and probably AT&T for the US.

Apple have also released their newest iPhone the 3GS boasting even faster data transfer.

So for you who have a iPhone, how do you get on with it? I absolutely love mine and cannot imagine a day without it, when my renewal comes up I'll probably just upgrade to the newest one on the Market.

Alex

Just a note for iTouch owners such as myself, the 3.0 update costs $9.95. iPhone users get the upgrade free.

I'm on an iPhone development team at work (i'm a software developer) and we all just installed the 3.0 SDK today. I think the OS was available earlier though - we had it on our devices yesterday I believe.

The BETA was available in the UK in March time - however the official UK release date was yesterday.
