Macbook pro

What do you guys think - good idea to buy a Macbook pro? Or wait around for the newest re-design or revamp they come up with? Not sure how long its been since the prior ones on sale now came out.

So, wait a while or get one now?

I would get one if you're going to, these unibody macs have been out since late 2008/early 2009, but the new Core i-series were just added a few months ago. We probably won't be seeing any performance revamps in quite awhile, same with the design. I have the older model that looked so much better than the current one, and that design was out for over 5 years at least. It changed a little bit when they made the transition from Powerbook to MacBook Pro, but the overall design stayed the same.

According to the testings done by Macworld, the new CPUs really spank the old Core Duos, so, if you have an ailing Macbook Pro, a new one would be worth it.

MacBook Pro is an awesome laptop. You'll pay a premium for it though over comparable windows laptops.

Here is a site with some good information for you:
MacBook Pro Review

Also, Apple just refreshed the MacBook Pro models.
