MAC OS Lion WLAN problem

Hey I am trying to help my friend fix his problem. He has a Mac and he thought it would be a good idea to upgrade to Lion from Snow Leopard but he says hes having a lot of trouble getting onto the internet. Hes checked his router and modem connection over and over, everything's normal. He says the computer will say its connected to his wireless router but every time he goes to his web browser its only a matter of less than a minute until it disconnects and he can no longer access the internet.

Is this a known Lion problem? Any help is appreciated.
