This is the first time im trying to build from home I have 3,000.00 GBP = 4,677.00 USD to spend but want to get what will play nicely & Edit HD Pictures (No Games) & deal with Humidity of where I live

I am completely out of my league & researching for the last couple of weeks & realize the different components are a minefield & I really don't know enough about the inner workings of a PC to get it right

Hey Khalil. Haven't been around much but am building a few boxes as of late (family and friends) and have really been appreciating the value w/AMD lately. Quick question....If you were to do an HDCP build, which would you prefer for it.... A Phenom II 920 or an Athlon II 445? Have both and was wondering if the 445 would be better for an HDCP? Cooler? I'm pretty lost on what to do as i've never built a computer.

I want a gaming desktop that shreds high framerates, so i used Doghouse Systems Armor TL 5850c as a model for building mine.

I want to keep it under $2000.

What is a cheaper alternative to two ati 5850s? And what power supply would support the cheaper alternative?

Also, you mentioned leaving the i7 for i5 and getting a cheaper motherboard?

I guess what i'm asking is can you help me assemble a killer gaming rig?

I'm going to get it all on newegg.

I don't know for sure never did this on a laptop like yours, you might be able to get just a key, with Asus and Lenovo you can but with others you have to get a whole keyboard. Take to a computer repair place and see if they can repair it. Do you still have all the pieces?

Khalil, My numbwer 2 key on my laptop popped out and my dumb brother took the membrane out somehow, how can i install it back or can i get someone to do it for really cheap? Im about to sell it and it just happened recently

IT STays there, its dead or broken line of pixels i heard, can it be fixed?
