Hey Masaki long time no talk, well I told you I'd be back eventually and here I am, I have about $800 toward a new pc build. I'd like a gaming build.

Here's what I'm looking for: An ati / amd build , good sized monitor, and full tower. Sound I'll get later, will need an operating system too! Can we do it!!?

I just wanted to thank you for your suggestion in "i need a decent gaming pc for $600 FAST" thread. I wanted to upgrade an old computer given to me. Being a complete newb to Pc building I was going to upgrade the processor and graphics card on an outdated AGP mobo. When I saw that thread I realized I could have a like brand new PC for about $300 if I recycled my drives, case, and monitor. So I bought the PSU, mobo, AMD proc, graphics, and memory you suggested and put it all together this last weekend and it all runs great! I have all the new drivers installed and it all went together without a single problem. I would have most likely spent way too much money on something that may not have worked. This system is sweet because there is plenty of room to upgrade for the future and was dirt cheap to put together. Thanks again man, I love my new system and had a lot of fun learning about it as I put it together!
