cable modem question
So, a couple months ago we got Charter digital cable with the cable modem. We always had cable from our gated comunity that we pay for with our homeowner dues. One time, we were late paying Charter's bill, so the cable boxes didn't work, but the cable modem was still working, and if we didn't use the boxes, we would get all the chanels on our tv.
So, my question is, if I bought my own modem, cancelled charter and used the normal cable we have, would that be illegal? |

Yes and if you cancelled, they'd make sure you didn't have access. Your temporary cut off was just cuz of the billing problem.
