wireless networking
i have been asking about networking for a while on these forums but i have one last question. I ahve two computers one is by my dsl modem. the one by my dsl modem does not have a wireless networking card. in order for the computer in the other room to get internet, would they both have to have wireless networking cards? because i was told that i could just connect the computer next to the modem and the wireless router with an ethernet cable so i didnt have to buy two wireless networking cards, only one for the computer in the other room. i hope this makes sense.

You would only need one wireless card. The one by your DSL modem can be hardwired to the wireless router. Connect your DSL modem to your wireless router, and connect your closest computer to your router. Then just get a wireless card to connect your other computer.
