Router Hard Reset

I read and printed out Static'a info on securing your network so I could check my settings to see if I could resolve a problem I am having.. I am embarassed to say I forgot my password and did not write it down. I imagine that I used a password that I knew "I would never forget" and did. So how do I go about doing a hard rerset of the Router? It is a Netgear MR814.

reset button is located on the back of the router (it should be near the WAN port).

push and hold it for 10 secs or so until the test light turns on, release and let the router reboot. (page 9-8 of the manual)
