Router help!
First of all, sorry for the thread with no content I posted yesterday. My PC crashed and I dunno what happened!
Anyway, this post has similar content but is more to the point. I'm a networking newbie and I need to find a broadband router capable of connecting two PCs wirelessly. Almost every 'wireless' router I see have ONE wireless connection and normally four wired connections! Does anyone know of router that will meet my needs? Any help would be much appreciated! Cheers. |

The wireless router with the wired ports. Wired ports have no bearing on you being able to connect 2 PC's wireless.
Actually it is better to have a router with wired ports in order to physically connect one for setup/troubleshooting if there is any problem with wireless connections. Chas

Thanks chas,
Maybe i'm just a bit confused! From product descriptions I presumed that only one PC could connect wirelessly. Could you please tell me what dictates the maximum number of wireless connections? Cheers. |

Most wireless routers can handle about 25 wireless clients before they get really bogged down.
