Linksys Firmware

I have heard that there are Linksys firmware upgrades out there that will boost the coverage area of Linksys wireless routers. Please tell me where I can find this or e-mail me a link,

Thanks,

there is no way that I know of the firmware can increase the range of wireless networking, high gain antennas is the only way I know of at this time.

wireless range is determined by:
radiated power of the radio and the gain of the antenna (higher will get you farther range).

Firmware generally has no effect on either of these. What formware can effect is the overall thruput performance of the device: how fast it processes the individual data frames and moves them to and from the wireless "port" to the wired "port"
