DSL Network

Any special equipment required for networking with SBC Yahoo! dsl? Would you use a standard wired modem and 2 NIC's like with cable? Will be connecting 2 98se computers.

Thanx, mc2phat! I did a search but didn't turn those up for some reason. Appreciate the help.

You parallel the cable broadband. Just a different box connecting to the provider in all the ones I've been involved with. But you didn't mention a router, which begs the question of NAT and hardware firewall capabilites.

You're supposed to read my mind, edfair! I typed modem but meant router. Obviously the modem is necessary either way. My bad.
