I used to have three Pentium 2 Win 98SE computers that were in a network. I purchase an eight port ethernet hub and tied the three computers together using this hub. This worked great.
Now, I have a new computer - Pentium 4 (Asus P4P800-E Deluxe MB, 3.0GB). I still have two Win 98SE (P-2's) connected to the hub. They "see" each other. QUESTION: How can I tie my new P-4 computer into this network where I can view, transfer and print files? Can I also use the printer that is shared by the two Win98SE computers? (NOTE: My new P-4 PC is connected to the internet via a DSL high speed connection.) PLEASE HELP. gwkremer@bellsouth.net |
