Network tool kit
Does anyone know of a good network tool kit? I want to be able to splice my own network cables and it must have a tone generator to test cables. That is all I think I need, but I am sure there are more tools that are helpful. Anyone got any suggestions? Would really like to buy this as one kit, flys better with the suits if it is one purchase. (Suit-Engineering 101)

You might look for Specialized Products or Techni-Tool websites. Both carry networking tools.

spliceing network cables is not a good practice.
you can get everything you need to install the RJ45 connectors at home depo, lowes, and radio shack, includeing tone generators and tracers, and crimpers, and testers for networking cables. |
