3com Cable Modem losing signal
I have a 3com cable modem and I havent had a problem with it in years. All of a sudden the past 3 days It is constantly losing signal and not reconnecting for sometimes hours. I have a dlink router with a dlink wireless AP connected to it as well two other computers (wired). Ive restarted and unplugged and replugged everything and still no luck the cable modem itself loses connection.
Can a router disrupt connection from the cable line? my assumption is that it couldnt, but I wanted to double check. |

Access your router settings from a website - I think it's universally http://192.168.0.1 type in the admin passoword (sometimes it's just "admin"), then see who's attatched to the device - ie. Who's connected to the router. You want to make sure that no one is accessing your router while you are using it.
