verizon dsl
is it just me or is verizon dsl slower today, is anybody else experiencing this

It would be a local problem if there is one. Someone in another state or even another neigborhood wouldn't be affected by any slowdown in your area.

nevermind i fixed it by unplugging the modem and repluging after a few seconds but does anyone know why does it do that

oh my god, the same thing happens to me. i noticed a week or 2 ago that surfing was slow, i still got low pings, but for some reason surfing was slow. stumbled upon this thread, didnt even bother powering anything off, and simply pulled the modem power plug out and pushed it back in. now its fast like it was when i first got DSL.
i don't know why this happens, but i'm glad i know how to fix this problem...
