Cool Multiple network cards in PC

I would like to install several gigabit network cards in my pc, is there a benefit to doing this for my lan? i have a gigabit switch also. will this increase my bandwidth?

if you're asking if the PC with multiple cards will be able to send/receive data faster by utilizing all of the cards.... then I think the answer is no.. at least not that I know of.

I also have 2 servers one is an ftp server with 1 TB storage and another for junk. i want to max my bandwith. i have a total of 8 computers with gigabit adapters.

To utilize all of the cards at once to speed up your connection you will need some sort of load balancing solution.
