Windows 98 Server
I am kind of inexperienced at newtorking and stuff like that but I do know some things. I just rebuild one of my old PC's so that I could use it as a server. It has windows 98 on it. I have two NICs in it and I want to run a cable form the cable modem to the PC and then to a router so I can share the connection with my other two computers. How do I go about doing this?

I would not even bother trying to do that
1. w98 is not a server O/S 2. connecting the cable modem directly to a router and then connecting all the other computers to the eathernet ports on the router would be a much better and faster way to set up your lan, you wouls have a hardware firewall and much better security . and a lot less headaches |
