What is the correct terminology for this device?
You have several network jacks in a work area wired. These wires are run to the wiring closet to the back of a standing unit; the wires are cut and each individual wire is inserted. From there in the front of that unit cat5 cables go from there to the switch. That standing unit I just described I am calling a connecting block, but I do not think that is correct for I can't find a correct picture of it from using those key words. What is it's true name?
