crossover network

Hi
I want to create a network between 2 win98se computers using a crossover cable and AOL 9.
I have all the required specs on both machines but have heard aol is tricky with ics.
Please could you tell me if there is anything i should look out for problem wise, or the best way to do this.
I have an adsl modem, and Aol broadband silver at present. I will be upgrading to AOL broadband gold to network, as silver does not support home networking.
Not sure if it makes a difference but i live in england.
Thanks

I don't see any problems with that myself. I'd say you should be ok. I haven't actually heard of AOL having issues with ICS at the moment.

You need a router. 98SE ICS won't work.
