adware "elite toolbar"
ive got this adware called "elite toolbar"
when i turn on my computer it on windows xp sp2 professional, my internet explorer pops up and then 12 ads following it popups after a couple of minutes or so. i have spybot currently updated hijack this ive uninstalled internet explore so i use mozilla i have zone alarm pro norton 2003 corporate all these programs say that they have removed the adware but after i restart it installs itself over again. my norton cant even catch it either if somebody can help me or direct me to the right path please help me. im at work and these pop ups make it difficult for me to concentrate. thank you |

Have a read of this thread, follow the procedures and post a "highjackthis" log.

You may need to turn off "system restore".. stuff like that often hides there..
