d-link network problems
Hi All
I have just purchased a d-link DSL-g604t wireless adsl router with which to network my two machines, a desktop and a laptop. I have set up the router good enough for internet connections off both machines, the laptop wirelessly and the desktop hard wired to the router. the problem i now have is trying to set up the machines to talk to each other or even to see each other! My laptop runs Win xp and my desktop win 2k but neither can see the other! is it something in the router set up? They can se each other just fine when hard wired together! please help as i am now getting hairless as i am tearing it all out in computer hell! thanksand a merry christmas to anyone who can help! matthew |
