Ok, I have been searching for this solution for about two hours now and still cannot seem to locate it, so either my luck is very bad or I just plain suck at it ^_^. Anyways, I have two computers on a network here, plus someone with a laptop that hooks into our wireless from time to time with a valid password. So, sometimes I try and send stuff, such as commands to the other computer in my house with something like "shutdown" and the command prompt. All that happens is the program returns a value "Access is Denied.", and I can't seem to get around it. I don't know whether I am, or am not the administrator of our network, and neither do I know how to change it so that I am. I have VNC viewer and such programs, but I would like to be able to execute commands without such clients...please I can't seem to figure this out...but ever since I set up the network in the first place I could not make my computer have the highest authority, and if I do, how do I find out...? Oh well, this is probably an easy question for all of you guys, so thanks for the input

I'm pretty sure you have to be logged on as an administrator on BOTH accounts.

I don't mean admin on just my computer, I am logged in as the admin on mine, just not the highest authority on our network...
