Ive uninstalled Norton and have been running Avg 7.0 on my computer. Now I notice in my yahoo instant message preferences under file transfers theres a link to NortonAntiVirus\cclMScan.exe for checking files transfered through instant messenger.
Well Norton is gone, so that link of course isnt working, and Im not sure that this AVG 7.0 (free version) has an instant messenger scanner within it, or what link to put in for the file transfer preferences. Does anyone have any advice? It is still letting me download file transfers through the messenger, but their not being scanned by anything. Thank you, |

AVG does not have an IM plugin, but after the file is downloaded, just right click it in Windows Explorer and choose scan with AVG. You should do this with EVERY file you download from ANYWHERE.
