I have some problem how to do my net - there is three computers with 100Mb Fast Ethernet cards with Win98 in short distance and another three with 10/100Mb ethernet cards (I don't know exactly now) with Win95 in short dist. but there is more then 30-40 metres among these three and three - how to do this? Two stockable hubs? Is it possible to have 30-40 metres between two hubs stocked??
Thank you & sorry for my english |

30-40m is fine, the maximum distance for 100Mb/Cat5 is 100m or approximately 300 feet. The cheaper solution to your problem is to run three cables the 30-40m distance and plug into one hub. You can do it the way you were suggesting, but it really isn't neccessary.
