yo, i run off of Sprint DSL 512kbps (down)/ 256kbps (up) through a 645 series modem. no i dont network, this PC is solo, and yes i run off of Ethernet.
Heres the deal: after requestin through sprint the possibility to hook up some online gamin, primarily serv hostin they told me due to the intenral modem firewall this was not possible unless i config the modem as a bridge than set up a new PPPoE connection. Which i did, and it runs perfectly fine, np. Stupid question is which im sure this was waste of time to ask the pros here, is- is there anyway to set up that PPPoE (internet connection through modem) to startup when windows startups instead of always havin to click the link i made everytime? Heres the where the "stupid" part comes in, Sprint told me that it was impossilbe to do, even if u put the PPPoE link into ur startup folder. Just thought 1 of u might know another way , feedback be appreciated thanx.

Use this instead of the PPPoE client you are using. How to get it to start with Windows is covered in the documentation. Quote:
