Network monitoring tools
Guys
can you please advise on more simple network monitoring tools. I monitor a network which has routers,switches. But now the tools i use are as follows MRTG, ping and traceroute. i was wondering if the are any other simple and effective tools to monitor a network. waiting to hear from ya all |

Cheap Network Monitoring
I have just found a very simple network monitoring software package. Monitors ICMP (i.e. PING) and disk statistics and sends alerts via SMTP, Lotus Notes and NET SEND commands. Also, has a nice feature in that it allows the user to use their own network drawing as a background for the application. Looks sweet when running. Software is called VMonitor and is available at WWW.BEARSOFTWARESOLUTIONS.COM
