have you read the sticky thread in this forum "in case you suspect you have a virus?"
usually the viruses it does not delete are in system restore.
i would turn off system restore and delete temporary internet files including offline content.
then reboot into safe mode
and run AVG in safe mode.

There's no antivirus in the world that can delete viruses that are running or in system restore.

Wink AVG finds viruses but won't delete them

Behome83, had the same problem. I ran AVG in safe mode and when it won't delete I just moved to the virus chest. And then if that don't work go to Avast . com and download their free anti virus. Theirs is not as user friendly as AVG but it is powerful and will get what AVG won't. Also run Spybot in advanced mode and you will have control of your machine again. Just don't use that new one from Microsoft, good luck Chiquito!!!

The one from M$ works great, especially with the real-time monitoring. We use it at work and it picks a lot of stuff up. I see no reason why not to use it.
