Question 2nd Ethernet card doesn't work

I just installed a second Ethernet Card, so I can hook my PS2 to my computer. This is so I won't have to get a router and I needed use for that Ethernet Card SBC gave me when I ordered my DSL connection. My problem is that I can't connect to the internet on the second Ethernet Card which I just installed. Can anyone help?

You are saying that your broadband modem is connected to the first card - and you have Internet access, but nothing you connect to the second card has access? You need to enable internet connection sharing. Exactly how is different between different versions of Windows.

Yes, I am saying that my broadband modem is connected to the first card. Well, I haven't tried to connect my PS2 or anything else through the second card. What I am trying to say is that when I connect my broadband modem to the second card I get no internet access. It doesn't connect at all. Is the second card only for connecting a second computer through a cross-over cable and doing internet connection sharing?

No, you can do whatever you want with it. It sounds like you just need to install the drivers for it.

How do I install the drivers for it? What do I do? Where do I go?

You should post the solution to your problem. That way if someone else has the same problem, they can get answers from here.

That's all I'd use it for, otherwise why even put a second card in?

I guess Windows XP wasn't detecting it. So I checked to see if I had it installed correctly. For some one reason, I decided to switch my dial-up modem with the NIC and Windows XP finally detected it.
