Wireless Broadband Network problem.

Hi everyone,

I have just bought a BTVOYAGER2100 modem router, a BT 1060 Laptop adapter and two D-Link USB Adapters for two desktop PC's, to make a wireless broadband network.

All has gone well with the installation, we can all connect to the Internet, although the connection keeps dropping now and again, it seems to lose the router.

The main problem i have is that the laptop can see the two pc's on the network, one pc can see the laptop and the other pc. But my PC cannot see the laptop or the other PC.

When i go to Start-Explore all users-My network places-Entire Network-Microsoft network places-Home (the name of the network) i get this error message.

"Microsoft Windows Network

Home is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.

The list of servers for this workgroup is not currently available".

And an 'OK' button.

Can anybody tell me why i get this message and what to do about it. As i have paid out for all the equipment, and had no problem before with just a broadband modem i am a little annoyed that i seem to be the one left out.

Laptop and PC's are running on Windows XP Home Edition.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Make sure all Pc's are on the same worgroup.

Right click "My computer"

"computer name" tab

Then press "Change..." and set all pc's to the same value (try "HOME", and restart all pc's.
