Direcway alternative??

I've using direcway for a little over a year now. As far as I know, the only way to get broadband where I live is by satellite. I'm just wondering, is there any alternative satellite internet service? I'm just curious is all.

That's the only one I've come across. I'm in the same boat, but never made the switch. Just seemed so expensive when I looked into it last time.

How is your pricing plan? Pretty reliable, or do you have alot of issues with it?

I thin they charge like 59.99 a month, but I got mine through Earthlink and it's like 69.99. The hardware right now is like 599.00 i think. I found another one after I started this thread call Starband.

How's your experience with the service? Do you use it only for browsing, or have you used it for gaming?
