hey having a big prob with modem help!!

Hey guys, my cable modem has been being real unstable lately... it just keeps resetting over and over again... then sometimes it will work perfect for a few hours then it will start to reset and go crazy on me. I have checked all my wires for tight connections... i replaced a few wires.... i have tried manually resetting the modem... ive tried restarting my comp over and over again... any help please would be appeciated THank

Do you own the modem or do you lease it from the cable company? If resetting hasn't cured the problem, my first call would be to the cable company and have them check for any problem on their end. The can ping the router and see what kind of return signal they get. If you own the modem, contact the manufactuer if it's under warranty for a repair or replacement.
