thru switch?
i ahve a DSL modem and a switch. can i connect the modem to the switch and then PPPoE from each individual computer computer?

yes and no:
yes, if you have ip addresses for each computer on you network from your isp. no , if you only have a single ip address. In this case buy a ROUTER, it does exactly what you wanted___share internet connect with multiple computers.( a router is actually a switch with routing function, you can use it extactly like a switch! )

no, i dont want to use the internet simunteneously for each computer. just connect all the comps to the switch and then dial individually, so as to i would have to disconnect from one comp to connect from the other.
