I.E. Doesn't Connect Right Away (6.0 SP1)

Upon opening, Internet Explorer on my pc(Windows XP pro, sp1) has been showing the following "Work Offline" dialog box for a week now:
No connection to the internet is currently available. To view internet content that has been saved on your computer, click work offline.
Click try again to attempt to connect.

If I proceed to click on Try Again the connection is then established but the problem reappears on the next bootup.
Here's my HijackThis log immediately following a reboot:

This is normal behavior when you have a router - just click the "try again" button.

Your log is clean. Please don't post logs until you have read the sticky thread.

I.E. Doesn't Connect Right Away (6.0 SP1)

Thank you, how come if I take the IE shortcut out of the Startup folder and launch it manually, the "Work Offline" dialog box doesn't appear?

If you are launching IE at startup, it's trying to connect before your network connection is fully active. The LESS you have running at startup, the better off you are.
