Hi sktyrhrtout
Please download miekiemoes' LQfix batch here: http://users.pandora.be/bluepatchy/LQfix.zip Unzip it to the desktop but do NOT run it yet. Next, please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following: 1) Restart your computer 2) After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8. 3) Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear 4) Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode. For additional help in booting into Safe Mode, see the following site: http://www.pchell.com/support/safemode.shtml Once in Safe Mode, please run LQfix.bat. When finished, restart your computer in normal mode and please post a new Hijack |

Download, unzip to your desktop CWShredder and run it, then:
1. Click "Check For Update" make sure your version is 2.14 (If an update isn't available, skip to step #4.) 2. Click "Click here to Download the upate". 3. When the new version has been downloaded, click "Save". 4. Click "Fix ->" =============== Let's look for, and delete, any program segments(prefetches) that might be present, and are associated with the 'problems' we're trying to remove from this system. To do this, let's: 1) Click "Start | Search", then search for each of these program's base name(s), in all files and folders: udh2cqag.exe* 2) Then if any are found in the 'prefetch' folder, delete them. Look closely, since the 'base' name will have a bunch of random numbers and letters attached to it. =============== Run HiJackThis then: 1. Click "Config..." 2. Click "Misc Tools" 3. Click "Open Process manager" - Next, while holding down the CTRL key, locate (if present) and click on (highlight) each of the following: C:\WINDOWS\system32\exp.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\wintask.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\udh2cqag.exe Now double-check and make sure that only those item(s) above are highlighted, then click "Kill process". Now, click "Refresh", check again, and repeat this step if any remain. =============== Now, let's open a command prompt and unregister the dll(s) we're going to remove, by entering the following: regsvr32 /u cfgmgr51.dll It's ok, if these aren't found or 'error' out. If you want, just copy and paste the individual lines to the command prompt to save on the typing. =============== Run HiJackThis and click "Scan", then check(tick) the following, if present: R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer,SearchURL = http://searchmiracle.com/sp.php R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://searchmiracle.com/sp.php R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://searchmiracle.com/sp.php R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,SearchURL = http://www.the-exit.com/search R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = http://searchmiracle.com/sp.php O2 - BHO: CExtension Object - {0019C3E2-DD48-4A6D-ABCD-8D32436323D9} - C:\WINDOWS\cfgmgr51.dll O2 - BHO: &EliteBar - {28CAEFF3-0F18-4036-B504-51D73BD81ABC} - C:\WINDOWS\EliteToolBar\EliteToolBar version 60.dll (file missing) O2 - BHO: &EliteSideBar - {ED103D9F-3070-4580-AB1E-E5C179C1AE41} - C:\WINDOWS\EliteSideBar\EliteSideBar 08.dll (file missing) O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [cfgmgr51] RunDLL32.EXE C:\WINDOWS\cfgmgr51.dll,DllRun O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [p3EP3pP] unirad.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [exp.exe] C:\WINDOWS\system32\exp.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WinTask driver] C:\WINDOWS\system32\wintask.exe O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Y0xFRfj3O] udh2cqag.exe O4 - Startup: PowerReg Scheduler V3.exe O8 - Extra context menu item: >>> FREE PORN GALLERIES <<< - javascript:{document.location='http://sexmaxx.com/freegalleries.htm';} O16 - DPF: {2F5B39C5-C6F5-447A-A946-48B382C53985} - http://www.pacimedia.com/install/pcs_0006.exe O16 - DPF: {BFC9677B-8006-4336-9D49-2C797AEFCB9E} - http://akamai.downloadv3.com/binari...ESS_1058_XP.cab Now, with all windows closed except HiJackThis, click "Fix checked". =============== Locate and delete the following item(s), if present. Please print out or copy this page to Notepad. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes. You should 'not' have any open browsers when you are following the procedures below.
Go to My Computer->Tools/View->Folder Options->View tab and make sure that 'Show hidden files and folders' (or 'Show all files') is enabled. Also make sure that 'Display the contents of system folders' is checked. If you have Windows XP, the search feature is a little different. When you click on 'All files and folders' on the left pane, click on the 'More advanced options' at the bottom. Make sure that 'Search system folders', 'Search hidden files and folders', and 'Search subfolders' are checked. For the options that you checked/enabled earlier, you may uncheck them after your log is clean. If we ask you to fix a program that you use or want to keep, please post back saying that (we don't know every program that exists, so we may tell you to delete a program that we think is bad to keep). =============== Reboot into "Safe Mode". =============== Next, while holding down the CTRL key, locate (if present) and click on (highlight) each of the following: C:\WINDOWS\system32\adsmsext.exe Now double-check and make sure that only those item(s) above are highlighted, then click "Kill process". Now, click "Refresh", check again, and repeat this step if any remain. =============== Run HiJackThis and click "Scan", then check(tick) the following, if present: R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = file://C:\WINDOWS\system32\Searchx.htm O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [686559a7d273] C:\WINDOWS\system32\adsmsext.exe O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Instant Access] rundll32.exe EGDACCESS_1058.dll,InstantAccess Now, with all windows closed except HiJackThis, click "Fix checked". =============== Locate and delete the following item(s), if present. Make sure your able to view system and hidden files/ folders: files... C:\WINDOWS\system32\adsmsext.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\EGDACCESS_1058.dll C:\WINDOWS\system32\Searchx.htm =============== Post back a new log, and let me know how everything goes. - Lobos. |

Please print out or copy this page to Notepad. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes. You should 'not' have any open browsers when you are following the procedures below.-
Click here and download Adaware SE update it Follow these directions to configure AdAware SE and update it but do not run a scan yet:[LIST]AdAware Tutorial The Temp folders should be cleaned out periodically as installation programs and hijack programs leave a lot of junk there. Download CleanUp! http://cleanup.stevengould.org/ (Alternate Link if main link don't work - http://www.greyknight17.com/spy/Cleanup.exe ) and install it. Don't run it We'll need to unload (not uninstall) Intermute's SpySubtract, since it might interfere with other program(s) we might be using to 'clean' off your system. =============== Run HiJackThis then: 1. Click "Config..." 2. Click "Misc Tools" 3. Click "Open Process manager" - Next, while holding down the CTRL key, locate (if present) and click on (highlight) each of the following: C:\WINDOWS\system32\psoft1.exe Now double-check and make sure that only those item(s) above are highlighted, then click "Kill process". Now, click "Refresh", check again, and repeat this step if any remain. =============== Run HiJackThis and click "Scan", then check(tick) the following, if present: O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [PSoft1] C:\WINDOWS\system32\psoft1.exe O16 - DPF: {BFC9677B-8006-4336-9D49-2C797AEFCB9E} - http://akamai.downloadv3.com/binari...ESS_1058_XP.cab Now, with all windows closed except HiJackThis, click "Fix checked". =============== Locate and delete the following item(s), if present. Make sure your able to view system and hidden files/ folders: files... C:\WINDOWS\system32\psoft1.exe - Run adaware Run cleanup reboot =============== Post back a new log, and let me know how everything goes. - Lobos. |

Please download the List Installed Programs script from here. Unzip it and double click InstalledPrograms.vbs run it. It will create a notepad file. Copy/Paste that information as a reply to this thread.
also Download RegSearch.zip and extract the contents of the zip file to it's own folder. Open and double-click the icon for RegSearch.exe to launch the program. Enter Instant Access in the top window and click OK. After completion Notepad will be opened with all the found instances. Please post that log. |

Heres one last log just in case but it seems to be running very well. One more question though can you suggest some free virus protection that would be good for a simple dial up connection.

Be sure to look this solution over before you begin. There are a some item(s) i'm not familar with. If you recognze any, then just omit them from this fix.
Download KillBox, unzip it to your desktop Please download miekiemoes' LQfix batch here: http://users.pandora.be/bluepatchy/LQfix.zip Unzip it to the desktop but do NOT run it yet. if you still have it never mind Reboot in "Safe Mode". =============== please run LQfix.bat Let's look for, and delete, any program segments(prefetches) that might be present, and are associated with the 'problems' we're trying to remove from this system. To do this, let's: 1) Click "Start | Search", then search for each of these program's base name(s), in all files and folders: ayzoxt.exe* 2) Then if any are found in the 'prefetch' folder, delete them. Look closely, since the 'base' name will have a bunch of random numbers and letters attached to it. =============== Go to Add/Remove programs and remove(uninstall) the following, if present: E2 Give Elite Toolbar The above could appear anywhere within the entry. Be careful not to remove any personal or system software. =============== Run HiJackThis then: 1. Click "Config..." 2. Click "Misc Tools" 3. Click "Open Process manager" - Next, while holding down the CTRL key, locate (if present) and click on (highlight) each of the following: C:\windows\system32\ayzoxt.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\winupdt.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\synypt.exe Now double-check and make sure that only those item(s) above are highlighted, then click "Kill process". Now, click "Refresh", check again, and repeat this step if any remain. =============== Now, let's open a command prompt and unregister the dll(s) we're going to remove, by entering the following: regsvr32 /u EliteToolBar version 60.dll regsvr32 /u IeBHOs.dll It's ok, if these aren't found or 'error' out. If you want, just copy and paste the individual lines to the command prompt to save on the typing. =============== Run HiJackThis and click "Scan", then check(tick) the following, if present: O2 - BHO: &EliteBar - {28CAEFF3-0F18-4036-B504-51D73BD81ABC} - C:\WINDOWS\EliteToolBar\EliteToolBar version 60.dll O2 - BHO: CControl Object - {3643ABC2-21BF-46B9-B230-F247DB0C6FD6} - C:\Program Files\E2G\IeBHOs.dll O3 - Toolbar: &EliteBar - {825CF5BD-8862-4430-B771-0C15C5CA8DEF} - C:\WINDOWS\EliteToolBar\EliteToolBar version 60.dll O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [winupdtl] C:\WINDOWS\system32\winupdt.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AUNPS2] RUNDLL32 AUNPS2.DLL,_Run@16 O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [etbrun] c:\windows\system32\eliteaet32.exe O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [synypt] C:\WINDOWS\system32\synypt.exe O4 - HKCU\..\RunOnce: [synypt] C:\WINDOWS\system32\synypt.exe O16 - DPF: {47CD99DF-8BCF-4B9B-94EF-02E51B2F79DA} - http://www.alwaysupdatednews.com/install/aun_0015.exe Now, with all windows closed except HiJackThis, click "Fix checked". =============== Locate and delete the following item(s), if present. Make sure your able to view system and hidden files/ folders: folders... C:\WINDOWS\EliteToolBar C:\Program Files\E2G - Run KillBox, unzip it to your desktop, then run it. Now: 1. select "Action | Delete on reboot". 2. copy/paste the following file name(s), one at a time, in the "Paste Path of File to Delete" field: C:\windows\system32\ayzoxt.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\winupdt.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\synypt.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\AUNPS2.DLL c:\windows\system32\eliteaet32.exe ( You'll have to locate this one. ) 3. click "Kill File". 4. when prompted to "Reboot Now" select "yes". reboot to normal run an adaware scan Run clean up Download One of the best Anti-Virus that even comes with free edition. It has state-of -the art scanner engine and its very effective. Frequent updates, low resource usage are some of its good points. Worth a try. AVG Here is a list of Firewalls Dowmload spyware blaster and hphosts in my sig come back and post another log =============== Post back a new log, and let me know how everything goes. - Lobos. Be sure to look this solution over before you begin. There are a some item(s) i'm not familar with. If you recognze any, then just omit them from this fix.
Please print out or copy this page to Notepad. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes. You should not have any open browsers when you are following the procedures below. Go to My Computer->Tools/View->Folder Options->View tab and make sure that 'Show hidden files and folders' (or 'Show all files') is enabled. Also make sure that 'Display the contents of system folders' is checked. Windows XP's search feature is a little different. When you click on 'All files and folders' on the left pane, click on the 'More advanced options' at the bottom. Make sure that Search system folders, Search hidden files and folders, and Search subfolders are checked. For the options that you checked/enabled earlier, you may uncheck them after your log is clean. If we ask you to fix a program that you use or want to keep, please post back saying that (we don't know every program that exists, so we may tell you to delete a program that we think is bad to keep). =============== Reboot into safe mode =============== Go to Add/Remove programs and remove(uninstall) the following, if present: Virtual Bouncer The above could appear anywhere within the entry. Be careful not to remove any personal or system software. =============== Run HiJackThis then: 1. Click "Config..." 2. Click "Misc Tools" 3. Click "Open Process manager" - Next, while holding down the CTRL key, locate (if present) and click on (highlight) each of the following: C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp\ICD1.tmp\svcmm32.exe Now double-check and make sure that only those item(s) above are highlighted, then click "Kill process". =============== Run HiJackThis and click "Scan", then check(tick) the following, if present: O2 - BHO: CExtension Object - {0019C3E2-DD48-4A6D-ABCD-8D32436323D9} - C:\WINDOWS\cfgmgr51.dll O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ayzoxt] c:\windows\system32\ayzoxt.exe -start O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [cfgmgr51] RunDLL32.EXE C:\WINDOWS\cfgmgr51.dll,DllRun O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [USB controller] "C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp\ICD1.tmp\svcmm32.exe" /startup O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [VBouncerDL] C:\Program Files\VBouncer\VBouncerInner.exe /S O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [picsvr] C:\WINDOWS\system32\picsvr\picsvr.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Nsv] C:\WINDOWS\system32\nsvsvc\nsvsvc.exe Now, with all windows closed except HiJackThis, click "Fix checked". =============== Locate and delete the following item(s), if present. Make sure your able to view system and hidden files/ folders: folders... C:\Program Files\VBouncer C:\WINDOWS\system32\picsvr C:\WINDOWS\system32\nsvsvc files... C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp\ICD1.tmp\svcmm32.exe C:\WINDOWS\cfgmgr51.dll c:\windows\system32\ayzoxt.exe - =============== Download mwav.exe from MicroWorld, then: 1. Double-click the mwav.exe icon to run it (it'll self extract). 2. Click "Scan". 3. When it completes, post back the results from the 'Virus log information' pane. Lobos. |

I had to delete your post, the length was excessive. You may repost, but upload your log as an attachment instead of pasting the whole thing in.
Where did Kazaa come from? Here we are getting you cleaned up and you just go and install something that contains KNOWN spyware, and a LOT of it! |
