Networking Help...

i need help re-configuring my LAN T_T... somehow my new PC cant access the other computers on the LAN but my other computers can access the new one... ive turned on file sharing and my guest account is on. my firewall is configured on all PC's to accept from there respective id's and i re-installed the driver for my LAN card in my motherboard. I tried 2 different LAN cables already and it still doesnt want to link...my new PC is a SATA HD and could that be the reason why it cant read the other PCs? i dont have SP2 on my other PCs and this one is running on SP2 so is that a reason why?

Check the LAN card for problems other than checking its drivers. I have the same problem, so use a LAN diagnostic utility provided by your LAN Card and test it. My Realtek NIC was blown, and I knew it when diagnose it. Please correct me if I'm wrong... and suggest me some Ideas about it too..
