Router
Can anybody tell me the proper steps of creating a VPN connection through my D-Link DI-604 broadband router? VPN is already configured on the server. Users are already made for remote access. Can't get through the router, can somebody help?

Are you running the Server behind your Router?
If so, fine out what ports are needed. Example the VPN I support at work, must have ports 10001 and 500 open to TCP. You could put the router in a DMZ mode just to test, however don't leave it that way, as it opens all ports and opens you wide open to the internet.

Here is my best stab at it.
• Public IP address/UDP port 500 to the server's private IP address/UDP port 500. • Public IP address/UDP port 4500 to the server's private IP address/UDP port 4500. source: http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;885348 |
