No dial tone, when trying to connect -HELP
I have fitted a new modem and drivers, the PC says it is installed and working but everytime I try to connect it just says there is no dial tone, if I plug my phone in there is a dial tone, I have installed the modem in another PC and it works fine, any ideas?

Whats your OS? Are you sure you have installed the correct drivers for your PC? Also check for the modem cable you used. Try also to connect directly to the telephone socket not through the phone if it's not that way.
